Extra! Extra! Today's spotlight on a rescued animal
The Blackberry Family is captured on camera by rescuer Carol Fuegi of the Point Roberts Animal Well-Being Society in Washington state. Carol bestows kindness upon these feral cats and many other animals.

- I’ve been a journalist and an animal rescuer for more than 20 years. Besides telling my own tales, I report about my work on the road. The animal rescue community is notorious for avoiding the public eye, but I am one of the initiated.
